Lovett Catering Company

We are a full service catering company offering on-site cooking and service as well as drop off service. Lovett Catering specializes in BBQ and Soul Food, however, we can also customize the menu for the customer. We offer Italian, Spanish, Mexican, and Seafood options as well; just tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll make it happen.

Catering Services

At this time for our pick up service we are requiring orders for at least 20 people. For our delivery and drop setup, we are requiring orders of at least 40 people. For our full service and onsite cooking we require orders of at least 100 people. We understand each event is unique, so we are flexible and willing to adjust to our customers individual needs.

Pick up

We provide a time for you to pick your order from our place of business. Your food will be hot and ready to serve in disposable trays and everything you need for an enjoyable meal.

Delivery

Just let us know your location, and we’ll deliver and set up your food so it’s hot and ready to serve! Delivery charges vary depending on size and location of your event.

Drop Setup

Need to keep the food warmer for a little longer? It’s our pleasure! We will provide and setup disposable chafing dishes and sterno when you choose this option. Setup charge is extra depending on the size, location and number of guest.

Full Service

We’ll bring everything to you, so that you can spend your time entertaining your guest. Our team of caterers will be in full uniform as we offer a full buffet set up, including chafing dishes, tables, and buffet linen. Charges vary upon your event size, location and number of guest.

Onsite Cooking

It’s like having your own, personal Pitmaster! We’ll send a team of our professional full service staff to prepare your menu on site according to your group or individual guest needs.

Our Chef

Sean Lovett, originally from Savannah, Georgia, is a true southerner at heart. He learned how to cook watching his mother and grandmother in the kitchen. That’s where he learned all that goes into southern cuisine. However, BBQ is something Horace picked up all on his own. Studying the different regions that specialize in BBQ, he has a complex style that combines the regions of BBQ that he enjoys the most. Mainly Georgia, South Carolina & Texas with a little bit of Memphis style sprinkled in there.

Our goal is to give customers what they want – Good BBQ! The kind of soul food that grandma cooked. More importantly, we want everyone to have an enjoyable experience eating some of best food in the world.

I founded this company out of frustration and necessity. I couldn’t find any good BBQ in the city of San Jose or even the Bay Area. No offense to anyone, I’m sure they’re all doing their best. So I decided to just start cooking and inviting my friends and family to join me for some authentic southern cooking and BBQ. Then I was encouraged by everyone who tried my food to start a catering business or restaurant.” Here we are, ready to serve you!
